Escalade battery died – should I go with a premium maintenance-free battery or dealer original?

My 2015 Escalade's battery finally gave up after a week of slow cranks, and now the car won't start at all in my parking lot in Dubai Marina. I called the dealer and they quoted me a ridiculous price for a replacement, plus I'd have to tow it there. I've been looking online and see options for a premium maintenance-free battery for cadillac that claims to have higher cold cranking amps and better heat resistance, which sounds perfect for our summers. Found Battery Zone's Cadillac page and they come to you, but I'm not sure if these aftermarket batteries last as long as the original AC Delco. Has anyone here used a non-dealer battery in their Escalade or CTS and had good results? Also, do they need to reprogram the battery management system or is it plug and play? I'd rather not pay dealer prices but also don't want electrical…

GMC Yukon riding rough – anyone know a good suspension shop in Abu Dhabi or should I go to Dubai?

My 2016 Yukon Denali feels like it's crashing over every bump and the rear end sags a bit when I tow my boat. I'm pretty sure the magnetic ride control shocks are failing, but the dealer wants a fortune to replace them. I've been looking into aftermarket options like Arnott or just converting to regular shocks, but I need a shop that actually knows how to do the programming to turn off the magnetic ride warnings. I keep seeing results for g,c suspension repair dubai when I search, specifically for GMC shock replacement, but I'm based in Abu Dhabi and don't really want to drive all the way there unless I have to. Has anyone found a reliable place in the capital that can handle the autoride system on these trucks? Also curious if anyone has deleted the magnetic ride altogether and how that affected the ride quality. Any advice…

Just had both diffs rebuilt on my LX570 – night and day difference

I've been dealing with a slight vibration and occasional clunk from the drivetrain on my 2011 Lexus LX570 for months, and two different shops told me it was just old fluid. Finally got sick of guessing and took it to a place in Mussafah that specializes in heavy SUVs, and they diagnosed worn bearings in both the front and rear diffs. Ended up paying for a full rear and front differential rebuild service for luxury suvs at Al Zaabi Auto Care after a friend recommended them, and honestly I'm shocked how quiet and smooth the car feels now. They showed me the old parts – the pinion bearings were pitted and the carrier bearings had play. Took three days total and cost around 4500 for everything including new seals and synthetic fluid. Way cheaper than a new diff from Lexus. If your big SUV has a low growl or vibration…

Anyone used Royal Prince Auto Care in Dubai? Looking for honest feedback

I've been trying to find a reliable garage for my daily driver and also for my weekend toy, and I keep seeing the same name pop up in different places. I came across https://royalprinceautocare.com/ while searching for a shop that can handle both regular maintenance and some paint correction, but their website lists so many services that it almost feels too broad, you know? I'd rather hear from real customers before I book anything. Has anyone here actually taken their car to them for something like an oil change, AC repair, or ceramic coating? Do they do the work properly or try to upsell every time? Also curious if they're reasonably priced compared to other independent shops around Al Quoz. I don't mind paying for quality, but I've been burned by places that look professional online and then rush through the job. Any experiences good or bad would really help…
