Does the heat really kill batteries or am I just buying cheap ones? Trying to figure out if brand matters

I've gone through three batteries in five years on the same car and I'm starting to take it personally, like maybe it's not just the Dubai summer but something about my choices that keeps failing me. The first one was whatever the dealer gave me, the second was a budget replacement from a shop in Deira that I chose purely based on price, and the third was supposed to be a "mid range" option that still didn't make it past two summers. Now I'm staring down the barrel of buying yet another one and a colleague who's been here for fifteen years swears the only thing that finally stopped his annual battery replacement cycle was switching to an Amaron Car Battery, which he's been running for three years now without a single issue. I want to believe it's that simple but I'm also wondering if there's something else going on, like maybe my alternator is overcharging slightly or I've got a parasitic drain somewhere that nobody's caught. Has anyone else gone from replacing batteries every couple of years to actually getting long life out of one just by changing brands, or do I need to find a better auto electrician first before I throw more money at the battery tray?
