Boat Stickers
Numerous security patrols were made around the lake this summer, and boat sticker compliance seems to be improving. However please remember that boat sticker placement is key!! Make sure you place your sticker on the back of your boat or jet ski, visible even when the cover is on.
Boat Launch
Even though it hasn't been a problem this year, remember years past. Power loading continues to be a problem and will eventually wash out the boat launch. Do everyone a favor and winch your boat onto its trailer instead of using its motor. It'll save everyone in the long run.
Water Safety
Lake traffic is to move in a counter clockwise direction. Any PWC (jet ski, wave runner) can only be operated between the hours of 8:00 am and ONE HOUR BEFORE sunset. Please check local sunset times before you go out and remember, the Hillsdale County Sheriff Department is out and patrolling.
Neighborhood Watch
There have been a few thefts around the lake, including but not limited to:
Keep an eye out for your neighbor and they'll do the same for you. Let's all make the neighborhood watch program successful in our community, and remember to report all suspicious activity to the police.
