Fall 2007
This will be the last time that I will be able to address the members through the Gazette. I have served on the board for almost 8 years, the last five as President. It has been a very interesting time, I have always said that every member should serve on the board or at least attend a couple of monthly meetings a year to see exactly how the board functions and how your dues are spent.
The following statement was made by Lew Reynolds in the 1986 Fall Gazette, I believe that it should be repeated at least once a year if not more. "Nine of your neighbors and friends join together to make decisions that affect us all financially, environmentally and socially. These people are not gifted individuals, with insight and superior abilities, but rather people that are interested and dedicated in improving and preserving our lake community. The association can always use your ideas, help and comments to make sure everyone has an equal voice in our self-government."
Please try to attend at least one meeting, it will be well worth your time.

If you were getting LSPOA Updates and are no longer receiving them, there is a good reason. I was deleting duplicate names from my Address Book only to find out later that I was also deleting them from my association file as well. Please resubmit your e-mail address to harsch@acd.net and I promise not to make this error again.
Respectfully,
Tony "learning something
