Fall 2009

Our parks program has demonstrated continuous improvements for our enjoyment. However, during the past year we had two directors, Rick Meyer and Marty Hoffman, resign due to work-economy related issues that now appear to be improving. Chris Scheithauer has been very helpful in providing temporary support and we have an active Parks Team.

We currently are pursuing installation of 10 new picnic tables (5 in West Park, 3 in Main Park and 2 in East Park) and two grills, and are planning for a pavilion in the West Park and esthetic improvements to the Main Park fountain. Gutters were recently installed on the existing pavilions to reduce erosion.

Currently we are looking for a Parks Director to lead a great Parks Team to implement improvements for further enjoyment of our parks.
