Fall 2007

During the summer we were able to complete a few upgrades to the parks. With volunteer help, we poured 4 concrete pads at the main park to which we attached our new picnic tables. We also redefined our swimming area with a new buoy system. Special thanks to Jim Ladd, Carl Reuter, Randy DeFay, and Nikki, Cassie and Luke Meyer for your hard work on these projects.

Over the next two months, we will be building a new pavilion at the East Park. This will provide much needed shade for our residents when visiting the park. Anyone interested in helping with this project, please contact me at (517) 688-9022.

In addition to the work mentioned above, we are planning and quoting different designs for a new play structure in the main park. The existing playset is outdated and deteriorating. If anyone would like to provide input on this or any other improvements to our parks, please let me know.
