During the summer we were able to nearly complete the new pavilion at the East Park. A few minor items are left to complete which should be done before fall.
We were also able to complete a new play structure at the main park this summer. If you have not seen the new equipment, I would encourage you to take a look sometime soon. I would like to thank everyone who helped on this project!

There is a locked gate across the entrance to the boat launch at Schmidtke Park. The following members have keys to the lock and can be contacted during times that guards are not in attendance at the park.

To get a key to the boat launch, or to be on the call list for the boat launch, please contact Carl Reuter at 819-4884.
Boat Launch Key Purchase
Contact the LSPOA Office at 14261 E. Chicago Road (at Somerset Road) or call 517-252-5069. The office winter hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
There is a $9.00 fee plus a $50 deposit that is refundable upon key return.
The Main Park pavilion can't be reserved. Sorry, it is on a first come basis.
